On Wednesday, Reception and KS1 went to Conisbrough Castle. It was a fantastic day with the children doing lots of fun sessions whilst at the castle. Reception and half of Year 1 looked at Medieval artefacts and dressed up in Medieval costumes to re-enact the story of how Conisbrough Castle was built and maintained. The other half of year 1 and year 2 went into the Keep and learned about the history of the Keep and looked at Lord Hamelin's and Lady Isabel's rooms. It was a great day weather wise and all children enjoyed a lovely picnic on the grounds of Conisbrough Castle and played some Medieval games. Come and have a look!
