The annual Easter Egg hunt took place earlier than normal. The children loved searching for their eggs with their friends in the sunshine. What a fab way to end the short half-term.

To celebrate St Patrick's Day, we worked with a partner to create a leprechaun which we made using a plastic cup. We created our own pot of gold and shamrock too. Year 2 had the pleasure of working with Mr Glossop last half-term. We did some gymnastics and used lots of different balances, jumps and rolls to create a sequence of moves.
In Maths, we have been learning how to tell the time using analogue clocks and digital clocks. It was great fun doing the clock challenges with a partner. What a fantastic World Book Day! The children brought pillows, blankets and teddies and enjoyed some time in the reading café, which was set up in the hall. The children also listened to a David Walliams audio story called Boogie Bear and did some fantastic artwork based around David Walliams's most famous books! It was an amazing day which was topped off by Jacob winning the Year 2's Best Costume of the day. Well done Jacob! In Science, we have been learning about animals and the habitats that they live in. We discussed how animals adapt to their habitats and all the features needed to make a habitat.
