Well done to Emily who has completed week 4's D & T challenge and created a Wild West jail using recyclable materials. Emily has also completed a non-screen activity this weekend, a 3D dome jigsaw. Super learning Emily, well done.
Mrs Womble xx Please find attached below week 5's planning overview and resources. These will be on the Marsh Lane website too! Sorry the reading paper for this week and the step-by-step instructions on how to make a paper plate dreamcatcher won't load onto here so you can only access them through the website. Mrs Womble xx
Well! The Inventors home-learning keeps getting better and better and I have been most impressed with the setting description writing that I have received so far. Not only are you writing using your neatest handwriting, but you are also getting some Year 3 vocabulary words in there too!
Also, I have seen some incredible Maths learning taking place too with some of you sequencing time like pros! Well done Inventors, super proud of you! Mrs Womble xx Well done to Bella and Jack who have completed the D & T challenge which I set in week 4. You both used recyclable materials to make Wild West buildings. I personally think that your Wild West buildings are amazing! Well done to both of you!
Mrs Womble xx Please find attached below the weekly planning overview for Summer 2 week 4. I have also put links to resources to accompany the planning. You will also find the planning and the resources on the Marsh Lane website.
This week's special mention is for Emily who completed the Maths challenge set and made her own analogue clock using a hoop, some foam numbers and some coloured pebbles to show the 5 minute intervals. She then used her clock to set the time. Super work Emily and 10 very well deserved Dojo points!
Once again Inventors you have amazed me with your amazing home-learning work. I have especially enjoyed reading your memories and words of thanks for your Dad's and listening to the music you created for your Dad's too. I really hope your Dad's enjoy reading and listening to them as much as me!
Apart from your Father's Day work, I have been really impressed with the Wanted posters that I have received so far. You have been very creative with your Wild West villains and I have really enjoyed reading them and having a laugh or two over the villain's names! Keep up the hard work Inventors, you are all doing amazing! A number of parents have contacted school to ask about past KS1 SATs papers. The website link below will take you to a page with past KS1 SATs papers on it for English - Reading, English - SPAG and Maths for a number of years.
