In Science, we are learning to work scientifically. We did an investigation to see how quickly ice can melt. We placed 4 jars of ice around the classroom and did regular observations with a partner to see how quickly the ice melted. We predicted which place would melt the ice the quickest and which place would melt the ice the slowest. We discussed why we thought that. Finally, we discussed our results and why the window melted the ice the quickest. We decided that the sun helped to melt the ice the quickest. The ice that melted the slowest was placed in a shaded place.
