Hello Year 1! In Maths this half term we are focusing on... - Position & Direction - Place Value (within 100) - Money - Time I will be uploading worksheets as normal but if you wanted to do any extra activities, below I have attached an overview of each area we are learning about to help grown ups plan any extra lessons. On Friday 8th May, all around the country VE Day will be celebrated. You may already know about plans on your street or in your neighbourhood to celebrate VE Day with bunting, outfits and songs! This year is the 75th anniversary so celebrations are due to take place over 3 days - all weekend! Twinkl have made a range of different activities to help celebrate VE Day including a PowerPoint to help explain why we celebrate VE Day. I have included the link below along with different documents to download. Including: colouring, bunting & wartime recipes! As always, any photos you want to send in please email the school address and I can share them to the blog. If you are celebrating VE Day I hope you have lots of fun but remember to keep safe.
